Inside Joke Co. makes mugs and tees whose punchline is hidden on purpose: in heat, in low contrast, in code, in fine print. They’re for people who share a job or a world, and the best reaction is the quiet one from the person across the desk who gets it.
We draw every design ourselves. Each one is printed to order in the United States, so nothing sits in a warehouse, and each one carries a small signature mark that only the owner will find.
How the reveal works
- Heat revealA black mug that shows nothing until it’s hot. The print is only the hot state, so the joke is literally earned with coffee.
- Tone-on-toneNear-black on black. Visible when the light catches it, invisible in a meeting.
- EncodedBase64, ROT13, Morse. Noise to most people, a compliment to the one who decodes it.
- MicrotextA seven-point line on a rim or hem, for the person who reads the fine print.
